Meaningless and Makes No Sense.

I just got back the result for my grueling report.. remember the one that I had to collect the woodlice for? I spent weekss just to figure out the statistic part.. and additional few sleepless nights just to pool everything together.
And this is what I've got. So hurtful..
He commented on my writing.. That was really a stab!
I call this..VICIOUS!

ABSTRACT: Several sentences are non-sense:‘Earlier studies had shown that the locus PGM is inversely proportional to the altitude.’--- it is meaningless to say that a locus is proportional to something.‘This could be caused by non-random collection of the slaters.’--- makes no sense. ‘This could be caused by interactions between alleles on GPI.’ --- makes no sense.

INTRODUCTION: The little that is there is quite good. It is just mostly missing.

METHODS: The little that is there is quite good. It is just mostly missing.

RESULTS: Not much there.

APPROPRIATE TEXURE DESCRIPTION: No. long sections with no reference to data. See instructions on p34 of the manual.

EFFECTIVE USE OF SUMMARY FIGURES AND TABLES: Mostly ok

STATISTICS REPORTED AND INTREPRETED CORRECTLY: No P values associated with correlations, but say they don’t mean anything.‘A contingency chi-square test was done to test if the colours are independent of the genotype. Null hypothesis is rejected the locus PGM (Table 3) while it is not rejected for GPI (Table 4). This suggests that they might be a correlation between colour and the locus GPI.’ – that seems to be backwards.

POPULATION GENETICS: ‘Considering the significant differences in HWE, the seven populations were pooled for further comparisons.’--- this seems to make no sense at all.

DICUSSION: Some good ideas There is a lot of repeating and reporting of results in Discussion – keep sections separate

CITATION: fine

WRITING: Mostly fine, but quite a few language errors. Could use university language services.

Other comments:
The expectations for this assignment were made clear, right down to the detail of your being given the assessment matrix and told to use it as a guide and you did not follow them
