Finally able to blow up the collage that Izzah did.. I spent an hour figuring out, so it was quite an achievement after all these years.
As we're quite financially conscious, we decided not to watch Zohan and just hang around the city instead. To start the day right, we had brekky over at Hardware Lane which is located behind my college. My Italian is really bad so.. basically I had this pizza kinda thingy with bacon and egg. As for Izzah, she had this egg over some tomato based sauce with spinach. But the food went cold fast. I am not a hot food person, but.. I don't really like chilled breakfast.
It was kinda wet and cold today. I wonder how's WL and Vin up North in Gold Coast. Note to WL: Both me and Izz had a brief convo with that barista while he took our orders and we had skin contact when he returned my change. Later in the afternoon, we saw him on the street and exchanged smiles. There you have it, our day without you around.. =]
So after some Starbucks, some shopping... SHOPPING! I got really good deals today. I paid 70 bucks for things that originally cost 245 in total. Waaaaaaay satisfied.
So after some Starbucks, some shopping.. We had dinner at Misty's Diner at Prahran. They served American style burgers and have really awesome chilli fries. Jack Burger + A&W float was my choice, but definitely have a go at their shakes cos they are heavenly thick. Like THICK! Although things can get really messy with the big portion, the 50s American Diner theme restaurant has a huge array of imported American sweets and friendly staff which make it an excellent place to dine. This is defnitely a must visit place. Just around the corner of Prahran station or take a turn into High St after a whirlwind trip down Chapel St.
